Perrybotics' oldest and most successful program is our VEX High School team 742. Completely comprised from students from the SoCal region, team 742 has been a massive contender in the Southern California Robotics for over 4 years. From the start the team has held its self to the standards of cultivating passion through competitive robotics, encouraging new avenues of learning STEM. Typically comprised of 2 sister teams, 742a and 742x, the teams were designed to compliment each other as alliance partners. As of 2023, now all original members of 742 have graduated and become alumni, during this transition phase team 742 currently only operates with 1 team (742a).
