Our Robotics organization was founded in 2019 by Aaron Aviles and Jose Aviles as Perrybotics a 501(c)3 educational non-profit designed to cultivate a passion for engineering within local communities of SoCal. Initially supporting 2 High School VRC teams (VEX Robotics Competition) under the number 742a and 742x, now we embark on our 5th season High School VRC and starting our first season of VEX University comprised of students from the University of California, San Diego.

Our Robotics organization is dedicated to inspiring our communities to pursue the industries of stem through competitive robotics. To cultivate passion within our members and students for engineering, with hands on, theoretical, and collaborative team based learning. Perrybotics prides itself on its student driven and student focused approach to education. Competitive Robotics provides students with a large range of skills to pursue and develop from interpersonal to academic. Students within Perrybotics engage with math, physics, material science, analytical writing, Computer Aided Design, game theory, and critical thinking in a fun and competitive environment.
Perrybotics is dedicated to improving the quality of robotics education in local programs as well. Perrybotics works close with the Middles Schools of Downey Unified School District to mentor their VRC middle school teams, engaging in summer camps and workshops throughout the season. Perrybotics is proud to continuously support the growth and development of educational robotics within our communities and strives to provide quantity educations to its students.
